Gallery Statement

gal1The foundation of the gallery's program provides the inspiration for the physical design of the gallery space. The gallery layout was also designed to reflect the scale and character of our living and working environments, rather than the typical exhibit space of "four white walls". Art becomes more connected to the rhythms of everyday living.

gaal2The gallery's exhibition program utilizes a broad approach based upon three specific principles.

First, the presentation of art works which incorporate a diversity of methods and materials; including painting, assemblage art, sculpture, functional art, photography, print making, and computer media.

Second, the exposure of relationships between the work and sensibilities of different artists.

Third, the promotion of ideas and themes that result from the direct integration of these media and artists in the gallery space. These strategies try to expand the presentation and appreciation of art.
