to me, Art is sharing. it combines creativity with the painter's self-comprehensions. these come from life, history, different cultures, and different environments. Through my work, i have tried to experience life and the pathway which I was willing to choose.

 

 

art was just a way to see how much i could handle teaching these "words", which filled my ears since I was born. i started drawing naturally just like most kids. I was lucky to get into the only art group in elementary school, and it still is a special icon for me today. i guess that i was one of the lucky ones who got the chance to keep doing what i truly enjoy doing. i am able to sit for hours doing painting and graphic design.

 

 

 

 

when I dug through my family tree, i found out that i am the only one who has ever done painting and graphic design as a profession. that's all because of the unconditional love and support that my parents gave to me. Both of my parents were educators and my grand-uncle was a stage director and actor for the modern drama. my younger sister did paint a little; and i did teach Chinese ink calligraphy and painting at city museum. after that, i chose to try something different.
